22nd July at 7:30pm - Join us for our annual Strawberry Fayre - everybody welcome.
25th/26th September - we have the visit of Melbourne Staff Songsters from Australia,
who will be visiting Sunderland as part of their UK Tour. All seats reserved at £6.00
per ticket and can be obtained from Erica Niel (see our contacts page).
28th May - last weekend the Songsters took part in the ‘Army’s Gospel Arts Concert
at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Click here or visit the Gallery to look at the

Songster Leader Janine Wharton transferred to Monkwearmouth in 1982 from Hartlepool
Temple when she married her husband Graham. They have a daughter, Sarah, who sings
in the Singing Company.
